George Pompidou Center
On the occasion of the exhibition “No Discipline”, a retrospective of the work of architect and designer Ron Arad at the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris, we were commissioned by the artist to manufacture a 13,11m x 6,21m rug. This had to be made of various different pile heights and combine with the sofa from the Do-Lo-Rez collection, which the architect designed for the Italian company Moroso.
Following his initial design and adapting ourselves to the exhibition room requirements, we produced a hand tufted rug with 4 interlinking pieces. The collection has 5 different heights and 10 different shades.
