By using layers, Mathias Han manages to create a variety of tonalities, textures and shades. This is a light and informal rug, hand-woven using the ancestral Kilim technique, very easy to integrate and adapt to any space due to its range of chromatic shades. In Capas 3 the main color is blue.

The Capas collection is handmade using a kilim-based technique, this can cause natural irregularities and a rustic finish.
Due to the irregularity of the hand-spun Afghan wool yarn, during the dyeing process, the yarn can take on different shades of color.
Fiber: 100% Afgan wool
Total height: 4 mm
Technique: Hand loomed

100% Afghan Wool
Afghan wool comes from sheep grazing high in the mountains of Afghanistan. Naturally wavy, it is a very resistant material with a rough touch. Due to the curl of the wool and the irregularity in the yarn, when weaving it, it achieves an aged and unique appearance.
Manual weaving on a vertical or horizontal loom that plays with the intersection between weft and warp.
It is characterized by being thin, hairless and with geometric motifs. High-density rugs, durable and resistant, even in the case of very light rugs.
There is always a reason to create, to laugh and to wake up again.
Faced with the challenge of blank paper, several authors capture their own essence on designer rugs. A graphic and industrial designer, a painter, a fashion designer and a writer and gallery owner sign each of these exclusive designs that make up the 'Black on White' collection, in which very personal visions of the contemporary rug object are evident.
All of them with a common link: the choice of the absence of color, the black and white binomial, to intensify their identity. A dichotomy. A horizontal canvas. A work of art underfoot.
