Designed by Atelier Oslo and Lundhagem, the five-story building houses 450,000 books wrapped in a large illuminated atrium that connects the floors and divides them into smaller spaces for learning and experimentation.
The Scenario design studio signs the huge but intimate central library that has a cinema, workshops, sound room, exhibitions, stage rooms, meeting rooms and reading spaces. Specifically, it is in this last area where the Shade custom-made rugs are found, which define the common areas and brighten up the spaces thanks to their rich color palette. The Shade poufs perfectly complement the rugs, offering a comfortable and relaxed place to enjoy a good book.
