nanimarquina and the M.Barceló Dome at UN Headquarters

We have enjoyed the honour of participating in the renovation of The Human Rights and Alliance of Civilizations Room at the UN headquarters in Geneva.
Under the gigantic dome by the Majorcan artist Miquel Barceló, 600m2 of nanimarquina rugs in 100% New Zealand wool now cover the walls of the room, adding warmth while soundproofing.
It was an incredible experience to design and produce the 80 hand-knotted carpets; a huge woollen tapestry that compliments the work of Barceló.
