Following the success of the Tres collection, Texture version further simplifies the principle of the Tres family, keeping the stripes of different colors and different thicknesses. Combined together, these stripes create beautiful compositions.
Available in various sizes and 7 color variations: black, blue, sage, ocher, turquoise, chocolate and pearl; Tres captives with an elemental and timeless design.
True to her design roots, Nani Marquina launched her namesake brand in 1987, a time in which contemporary rugs were non-existent in Spain.
After studying industrial design at the Escuela Massana of Barcelona and enjoying the success of her first bespoke textile designs, Nani launched nanimarquina, a brand dedicated to the design, creation, and distribution of rugs and textile products for the home, based on values such as observation, innovation, and enthusiasm, with the goal to use traditional craftsmanship and techniques to create contemporary pieces.
In 1993, Nani Marquina embarked on a daring business venture: she moved manufacturing facilities to the north of India. The further incorporation of craftsmanship and tradition as a new design concept marked a clear difference, consolidating the brand.
Throughout the years, the brand has garnered numerous awards such as the National Design Award and the Premi Cambra a la Gestió Empresarial (Chamber Award for Design Management) in 2005, as well as several nominations for the Príncipe Felipe Award for Company Excellence. Nani Marquina has also received the International Women’s Entrepreneurial Challenge Award from the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce, a personal achievement that led to the 2007 FIDEM Award for Entrepreneurial Woman of the Year. She has enjoyed tenure as the Chairwoman of ADP (Professional Design Association), and of Red (Reunión Empresas de Diseño). From 2014 until 2019, Nani Marquina was the President of the FAD, (Foment de les Arts i Disseny), in Barcelona.
Last years she has been back to her roots: Nani has been focused on the creative side of the business. Leading the design team of the company, they've developed one of the most succesful collections of nanimarquina's history: Tres.
Elisa Padrón (Canarias, 1984) and her special sensibility for product design, makes even the most complex creative process simple.
Her intuitive and passionate approach leads her to experience craftsmanship in the first person: researching, experimenting with her hands, and comprehensively understanding different techniques, however traditional they may be.
With a tireless attention to detail, Elisa displays a keen knowledge of colour while highlighting the beauty of simplicity. She directs the in-house design team at nanimarquina, creating her own collections as well as accompanying external designers throughout their development process.

Hand loomed Dhurrie
The dhurrie is characterized by being a flat-structure rug, formed from the crossover between the weft and the warp strands. It can be done on both vertical and horizontal looms.
The technique offers infinite finishes and the use of different materials. Simple designs can be created or more elaborate motifs can be achieved through the use of different densities.
Warp and weft enjoy the same prominence within the design configuration; since they are evenly spaced, both are visible.
These slim and lightweight rugs usually depict geometric patterns, presenting a firm, resistant and knotless surface, which make dhurries clean and easy to maintain.
Projects are a reward to our work and dedication. This means that a team of profesionals have chosen our product to define their space.
