In the design of this refuge, Trenchs Studio started from the owners' desire to "create a meeting place where the warmth of home is the common thread" and designed common spaces for winter family gatherings.  

To this end, the studio played with the light in the space, creating a design that not only provided the desired warmth, but also enhanced the chiaroscuro, playing with the drama of the Aran Valley.    

The décor was also carefully selected using natural materials and elements associated with the mountain, such as wood, leather details, iron and wool fabrics in plain or checked finishes, and design pieces such as our Kilim pouf or our Wellbeing tapestry.
