Rangoli

Nani Marquina

The Rangoli is a symbol of welcome that provides protection and wishes for good luck.

Rangoli is a Hindu floral design, with a long historical tradition, that is placed at the entrance of some houses or buildings, on the ground, as a symbol of welcome and to obtain protection or wish good luck.

Normally the graphic is made up of flower petals, leaves, colored powders, rice flour and other elements that serve as a decorative vehicle.

Inspired by the essence of these works, the rug maintains the same intention in its drawing, proposing itself as an omen of well-being and welcome.

In addition to their beautiful history as background, the pieces in this series are creative scenarios of extraordinary charm for living rooms or dining rooms, in their large formats, or passageways and bedrooms, with the small model.
