Tones

Clàudia Valsells

The presence and absence of color influences not only a room, but also our mood, bringing calm and energy.

Everything that surrounds us is made up of colors that affect us in one way or another. No color is without meaning or context. It is magical to see how the presence, and absence, of color influences not only a room but also our mood, bringing calm and energy.

Claudia Valsells has designed the Tones collection focusing on color. Four models of rugs that provide a distinctive, harmonious, rhythmic and sensitive touch, with color as the main tool.

The collection is based on a design that invites you to experience the rug, inviting people or furniture to enter it instead of being mere spectators of the piece. The collection presents an infinite wealth of tones, highlighting the chromatic harmony reminiscent of musical notes.

For the artist, the transition from her usual medium, painting, to the nuances and textures of fibers and wool has been a very interesting challenge. Clàudia Valsells has once again used colors in an outstanding way, this time surprising us with the new support of the rugs.
