Manel Molina studied interior design at the Escola d’Art i Disseny EINA in Barcelona. Between 1985 and 1989, he worked as an industrial designer at the Miguel Milà studio and collaborated with the firm FCO. Llorens on architecture and interior design projects, as well as on restoration and temporary design works. In 1991, he co-founded the design studio Lievore Altherr Molina, specialising in furniture, product, and interior design, earning both national and international recognition.
In 2016, he began a new chapter with the creation of Estudi Manel Molina, building on his established career in furniture and lighting design. Together with his collaborators Raimon Monsarro, Daniel Castro, and Blanca Roigé, the team works with well-known brands such as Enea, Bover, Expormim, Studio TK, Punt Mobles, and Treku, among
others.
Their designs reflect a vision that values simplicity and authenticity, avoiding unnecessary embellishments and focusing on clear, timeless solutions. Each project is approached with deep respect for its context, prioritising honest and functional design that stands the test of time.
