Nomad

Nani Marquina + Ariadna Miquel

A basic single color that in its simplicity reflects the laborious art of weaving.

Originally from the indigenous sheep of Afghanistan, the Afghan wool fiber called Ghazni is characterized by reaching 30 cm in length. Due to its exceptional length and slightly wavy and fine structure, it provides great resistance and a special softness. Spinned by hand by women in Peshawar, Pakistan, the fiber retains certain irregularities that will later be reflected in the dyeing and therefore in the final piece. Nomad comes in four colors and is, in its simplicity, a tribute to the beauty of craftsmanship.
