Hotel Arts Barcelona: A dialogue between art, design and the Mediterranean

Designed by Meyer Davis, the renewed Hotel Arts Barcelona incorporates the Tres collection and two bespoke nanimarquina designs created specifically for the hotel.

Following an extensive renovation led by Meyer Davis, Hotel Arts Barcelona redefines contemporary luxury through art, design and craftsmanship. As part of the project, nanimarquina contributes the Tres collection alongside two bespoke rugs, Waves and Micado, created exclusively to complement the hotel's new identity.

Perched on Barcelona's waterfront, the hotel has been reimagined with a softer, more residential atmosphere, where carefully curated interiors invite guests to experience the city through a renewed sense of comfort and sophistication.

As part of this transformation, nanimarquina contributes a selection of rugs that reinforce the warmth and character of the interiors. Alongside Tres, one of the brand's most iconic collections, two bespoke rug designs were created exclusively for Hotel Arts Barcelona: Waves and Micado.

Developed in close collaboration with the design team, Waves and Micado were conceived to reflect the identity of the project, translating the rhythm of the Mediterranean landscape and the architectural language envisioned by Meyer Davis into handcrafted textile surfaces. The bespoke rugs establish a subtle dialogue with the surrounding interiors while bringing texture, warmth and a distinctive sense of place.

The inclusion of Tres further enriches the spaces through its understated palette and tactile character. Inspired by the beauty of natural fibres, the collection complements the hotel's refined materiality, adding depth and softness throughout the interiors.

More than decorative elements, the rugs help define intimate environments within the hotel's contemporary architecture, reinforcing a vision where craftsmanship, thoughtful design and hospitality coexist naturally. The collaboration with Meyer Davis reflects a shared commitment to timeless design, exceptional materials and spaces that create a lasting emotional connection.
