The 19th-century Domino Sugar Refinery was an industrial complex that adapted to new technology. Located in the heart of Williamsburg, one of New York City's most influential and unique neighborhoods, the refinery was a prominent city landmark. Now reborn as The Refinery at Domino, a new space in the dynamic and diverse neighborhood of Williamsburg, where authenticity and rich history yet standing at the forefront of the new.

For this project, some of the original structural detailing was used to guide the new structure. It has 460,000 square feet (42,735 square meters) of offices, with floor plans that differ depending on needs, as well as a vast penthouse that sits directly underneath the glazed vaulted roof.

Our Vegetal rug was selected to enhance the common areas located in the cantilevered glass overlook, where people can relax or hold meetings while enjoying the amazing New York City skyline view. This rug's essence of nature appeals to the basics of life, bringing the natural world into the city. This essence flows with the soul of the new space.
