La lana virgen es más resistente que otros tipos de lana. Tiene gran durabilidad y suavidad, además que es aislante y absorbe la humedad. Fibra con bajo impacto  medioambiental, ya que se produce en el mismo lugar donde se confeccionan las alfombras. De característico color base crudo.
