Piperi House
Designed by Sigurd Larsen, Piperi House in Greece reinterprets the traditional architecture of the Cyclades through a series of monolithic white volumes overlooking the Aegean Sea.

Located on the hillside of a small peninsula on Kythnos Island, Greece, the house draws inspiration from the whitewashed cubes and stepped alleys characteristic of Cycladic villages, establishing a striking dialogue with the dry Mediterranean landscape.
Four white volumes are set into the hillside at different heights, opening up multiple panoramic views towards the surrounding islands. Inside and out, a sequence of staircases connects the different levels, creating a continuous circulation inspired by the drawings of M.C. Escher.
Throughout the house, carefully framed views make the changing colours of the sea and sky part of the interior experience, while terraces and outdoor spaces strengthen the connection between architecture and landscape.
Chillida introduces warmth and texture into this serene setting, complementing the purity of the architecture and reinforcing the home's connection to its natural surroundings.
