Designed by Nao Tamura, the Quill collection expresses the beauty found in the modest and the imperfect, a hallmark of the wabi sabe philosophy. A series of irregular rugs representing a bird's feather drawn freehand, each one distinctly and uniquely handcrafted.

In the medium model, Quill S, the lines are drawn on a pastel stone green background.

100% New Wool

New Wool is more resistant than other types of wool. It has great durability and softness, plus it is insulating and absorbs moisture. Fiber with low environmental impact, since it is produced in the same place where the rugs are made. Characteristic crude base color.

Manual process in which, thanks to a manually operated gun, fluid curves and lines can be made. High density and durability.

Inspired by stems from a feather, drawn by hand, each design is organic and subtle. As with all nanimarquina rugs, the Quill Collection is handmade resulting in each piece being unique and different like nature itself.

Quill expresses the understanding of the beauty that lies in the modest, rustic and imperfect. What the Japanese refer to as wabi sabi, a philosophy that is apparent throughout Tamura’s work.
