California firm Ryan Leidner Architecture has used bright white paint and lush greenery to renovate a mid-century modern Eichler house in Silicon Valley that was completed in the 1960s.

For this renovation, Ryan Leidner Architecture updated the 204.3-square-meter space with white interiors and an open floor plan for a family of four.

Inside, several walls were removed to adjust the flow of the layout and create an open-plan living room. The iconic Losanges rug brings a flash of color amidst this stark white environment.
