Measurement Guide

Looking for the best rug size for your space? We advise you which size of rug is suitable for each room in your home: living room, dining room, office, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and outdoors.

Living room

Large and small sleeping areas benefit greatly from a rug, which helps define different areas and brings comfort to the room as a whole.
We recommend choosing generous rugs that accompany the furniture, a rug that does not cover at least the length of the main sofa may seem lost. Circular or smaller sized rugs are a great solution to create a more intimate reading moment.

Dinning room

The size of the rug should be proportional to the size of the table and ideally a little larger so that the back legs of the chairs do not protrude from the rug when seated. Specifically, a seated person occupies approximately 75cm, therefore, the rug should be approximately 1m larger than the table on each side.

In work environments, the benefits of the carpet are especially advisable: it is an excellent acoustic and thermal insulator and it reduces static electricity. In addition, they contribute
warmth and well-being.
Carpets can be placed in individual desks or in meeting rooms where comfort is especially indicated. The rug will also be a great ally to create different areas in the same space, such as leisure and rest areas, reception and waiting areas, etc.

A rug is a great companion in bedrooms, where maximum comfort is usually sought. It can be placed at the foot of the bed taking advantage of the warmth it provides when entering and leaving, on both sides with smaller sizes or as a decorative element.

The longest rugs or known as runners can work very well in kitchens. To separate, for example, the area of
preparation and food, or to indicate the change of stay.

Although it is less frequent, a rug can very well complete the bathroom areas.
Providing comfort in certain areas, separating the water area from the rest or indicating the entrance to a new room.

Outdoor rugs are perfect for terraces and outdoor areas where we want to achieve the same feeling of comfort as in indoor spaces.
They will help delimit areas and provide personality. They are resistant and easy to maintain rugs.
As inside we recommend; with sofas and armchairs choose generous rugs to accompany the furniture. If they accompany a table, the rug should be proportional to the size of the table

Swimming pool

An outdoor rug can also be a great companion for pool areas where we want to add color and personality.
