10 years of Tres

The Story of the icon continues

Created from a simple yet ambitious idea (to embody all the power of craftsmanship in a single design), Tres’ distinctive composition celebrates the beauty of handmade rugs through a design that balances tradition and innovation. Ten years later, Tres continues to feel as relevant as ever, proving that designs rooted in craftsmanship can evolve without losing their essence.

To celebrate its 10th anniversary, we are marking this milestone with two special launches. We are introducing five new colors, available across every model in the Tres family; and Nani's Choice: Tres Vegetal Black, a limited edition personally conceived by Nani Marquina and available exclusively through 2027.

Same concept. A fresh new palette.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Tres, Nani personally developed a new color palette for the collection. Rather than simply introducing new shades, each color was carefully studied to ensure it enhances the collection's distinctive combination of textures, weaving techniques and yarn thicknesses. The result is five new colors that bring a fresh perspective to Tres while preserving the essence that has made it one of nanimarquina's most iconic collections.

Nani’s Choice: Tres Vegetal Black

As part of the 10th anniversary celebration of Tres, we are introducing Nani’s Choice: Tres Vegetal Black, a limited edition available exclusively until the end of 2027.

Born from Nani Marquina's personal creative exploration, this edition offers a new interpretation of Tres while remaining true to the spirit of the original collection.

"My passion has always been color and nature. I've often said that nature inspires me, but this time I wanted to take it a step further by designing with 100% plant-based fibers. The rug is woven entirely from jute." says Nani.

More than a new design, Tres Vegetal Black reflects a personal choice; a reflection of a particular moment in Nani's creative journey. While remaining true to the original intention behind Tres, the challenge was to understand how plant-based fibers behave in the weaving process and how contrast could become part of the design language.

"This design connects me not only to the act of weaving, but also to my roots: nature and the Mediterranean. I wasn't looking to create a trend, but something timeless; a rug with a purpose that endures over time."
