Indigo Slam, a ‘sculpture’ to be lived in’ was a project completed in 2016.

Living in the house for five years, allowed Judith Neilson to fine tune in 2020/21, those areas which didn’t meet her functional needs and to create a more harmonious and calm aura, beginning with replacement of the original rugs (8 rugs which had previously differed in design and colourway for every room) with one range and colourway from Nani Marquina: ‘Blur’, designed by Erwan and Ronan Bouroullec. Having one design and colourway for all rugs throughout Indigo Slam, creates a cohesive and elegant backdrop, against the brick floors.

The Bouroullec brothers were heavily involved with this Project, personally managing the design elements to meet the many dimensions required.

Some existing furniture pieces (refurbished and re-upholstered) now marry with new custom furniture, artwork, design classics and vintage pieces to meet both functional and aesthetic needs.
